Shop.
For the duration of Art Trail Festival 2010, Sociable Science explored and tested out the various activities which have been used in Cork as alternatives to traditional economic systems. Here they set up shop where they printed and floated their own the currency The Debloom; the sole currency used in store. Shoppers were invited to haggle over prices and hawk their wares in their multi-functioning shop.
The project started with Debloom Bingo on Nov 19th and continued with a series of talks, workshops and screenings in the shop.
